Third Edition of Global WoodShow Part of Saudi Wood Forum Inaugurates in
Riyadh with Significant International Participation

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, Sept. 02, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) –
The third edition of Global
WoodShow Part of the Saudi Wood Forum 2026, was officially inaugurated at the
Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center in the presence of senior
government and industry representatives, including Dr Ahmed bin Sami Al-Zawawi,
Assistant Deputy Minister for Industrial Competitiveness and Advanced
Manufacturing; Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, First Deputy Chairman of the
Board of Directors of the Riyadh Chamber; Saud bin Abdullah Alsheikh, Chief
Executive Officer of Strategic Exhibitions and Conferences; and Adviser
Abdullah bin Mohammed Alsheikh.
Held under the patronage of
the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the exhibition takes place from
1 to 3 September 2026, reinforcing its relevance to Saudi Arabia's industrial
transformation and advanced manufacturing agenda. the event brings together
manufacturers, suppliers, and specialists from across the timber, woodworking
machinery, production technology, and furniture components industries.
The exhibition delivered a
significant industry milestone through the signing of a strategic partnership
between Global WoodShow Part of Saudi Wood Forum and the Portuguese Association
of Wood and Furniture Industries (AIMMP) to establish the Saudi Academy for
Wood and Furniture, while supporting local manufacturing and the
competitiveness of the Kingdom’s wood and furniture industries.
Also the third edition
coincides with a defining phase in Saudi Arabia’s economic and urban
transformation, as Vision 2030 projects continue to drive growth across
construction, hospitality, and real estate development. This momentum is
generating rising demand for engineered timber, advanced furniture components,
and intelligent manufacturing technologies capable of elevating production
performance and supporting the delivery of the country’s landmark developments.

reflects the exhibition’s expanding global profile and reinforces its position
